Terms and Conditions of Entry (“Terms”)
1. Participation in the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms. 2. The Promotion commences on Wednesday, 4th April 2012 at 12am AEST and closes on Sunday, 27th May 2012 at 11.59pm AEST (“Promotional Period”). To enter the Promotion, entrants must be an existing member of www.harveynormanphotos.com.au or sign up for free as a new member at www.harveynormanphotos.com.au and then need to upload a photo in their best Blues or Maroons gear. Entrants then need to complete an entry form online with their name, suburb, state, daytime telephone number and email address. 3. Entrants must be the parent or legal guardian of any child (under 18 years of age) contained in the photograph and have personally taken the photograph of their child. The Entrant consents to the use of the photograph by the Promoter for publicity purposes. 4. One entry per person. 5. Entrants must be 18 years of age and over to enter the Promotion. 6. The winners will be determined by the Promoter’s judging panel at their sole discretion. Each entry will be individually judged based on creative merit. 7. There are two (2) Prizes. One (1) for the most Fanatical Blues Fan photo and one (1) for the most Fanatical Maroons Fan photo. The winner of the most Fanatical Blues Photo Prize will receive: Return economy airfares for two (2) adults from the Winner’s nearest capital city within Australia to Sydney on Wednesday 13th June 2012 up to the value of $1,600. Two (2) nights accommodation for two (2) adults in a 4 star hotel including full buffet breakfast valued at $400. Two (2) corporate box tickets to the State of Origin Game 2 on Wednesday 13th June 2012 at ANZ Stadium, Sydney with transfers to and from the stadium valued at $500. Tour of the stadium and team sheds with Mario Fenech, the opportunity to hold the run-through team banner as the players take the field and group photo on playing arena at ANZ Stadium. Two (2) Signed NSW State of Origin Jerseys valued at $320. The winner of the most Fanatical Maroons Photo Prize will receive: Return economy airfares for two (2) adults from the Winner’s nearest capital city within Australia to Brisbane on Wednesday 4th July 2012 up to the value of $1,600. Two (2) nights accommodation for two (2) adults in a 4 star hotel including full buffet breakfast valued at $400. Two (2) corporate box tickets to the State of Origin Game 2 on Wednesday 4th July 2012 at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane with transfers to and from the stadium valued at $500. Tour of the stadium and team sheds with Mario Fenech, the opportunity to hold the run-through team banner as the players take the field and group photo on playing arena at Stadium Stadium. Two (2) Signed QLD State of Origin Jerseys valued at $320 (“the Prize”). 8. Each Prize is valued at up to $2,820. The total value of the Prizes is up to $5,640. 9. Entries that are deemed inappropriate or offensive by the judging panel will not be eligible. 10. The Prize for the most Fanatical Blues Fan must been taken on Wednesday, 13th June 2012 and the Prize for the most Fanatical Maroons Fan must be taken on Wednesday, 4th July 2012 and cannot be redeemed outside these dates. 11. Judging for the Prizes will take place at B1 Richmond Road, Homebush West NSW 2140 on Thursday, 31st May 2012 at 12.00pm. 12. The Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash in part or in whole. 13. The winners of the Prizes will be notified by phone on Friday, 1st June 2012 advised in writing and their details published in The Australian on Tuesday, 5th June 2012 (“Winners”). 14. If the Prize is not claimed by Friday, 8th June 2012 it will be deemed unclaimed and a redraw will take place. 15. The draw for the unclaimed Prizes will take place at B1 Richmond Road, Homebush West NSW 2140 on Monday, 11th June 2012 at midday (“Second Draw Winner”). 16. The winner of the unclaimed Prize draw will be contacted by phone, advised in writing and their details published in The Australian on Monday, 11th June 2012. 17. The Promoter reserves the right to request the Winner provide suitable identification of proof of age and identity prior to awarding a Prize. 18. The Promoter reserves the right to announce and/or publish the Winner’s name and/or photograph for publicity purposes. 19. Entries that are illegible, incomplete or do not comply with these Terms are invalid. 20. The Promoter reserves the right to verify entries and claims for Prizes and reserves the right to disqualify an entrant where the entry process has been tampered with. 21. The Promoter is not responsible if the value of the Prizes changes between the date of publication of these Terms and the date the Prizes are awarded. 22. The Promoter may at its absolute discretion, suspend, cancel or recommence the Promotion if (a) for any reason the Promotion is not capable of proceeding as planned; (b) if the Promotion is corrupted or the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion is affected; or (c) if the determination of the winner or delivery of prizes is prevented or hindered by any event outside the Promoter’s control subject to regulatory authorities. 23. Except for any liability not excluded by law, entrants release and indemnify the Promoter from and against all actions, claims and liabilities, that the entrant now has or in the future may have against the Promoter for any loss, damage or injury (including any special or consequential loss) suffered as a direct or indirect result of the entrant’s participation in the Promotion. 24. The Promoter’s decision in relation to this Promotion is final and binding on entrants and the Promoter will not enter into any correspondence. 25. Officers, employees and immediate families of officers and employees of the Promoter, the Franchise and their Related Entities and contractors and any other organisations associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter.
