Terms and Conditions:
1. Participation in the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms. 2. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner. 3. This promotion is open to residents of Australia Only. 4. The Promotion commences on Saturday, 1st September 2012 at 12am AEST and closes on Monday, 1st October 2012 at 5pm AEST (“Promotional Period”). 5. To enter the Promotion, entrants must go to: http://www.harveynormanphotos.com.au/competition and must be an existing member of www.harveynormanphotos.com.au or sign up for free as a new member at www.harveynormanphotos.com.au, then upload a photo showing your interpretation of how to disconnect to reconnect! Be it a dinner party with friends and family, avoiding distractions by phone stacking at a business lunch (like planking but for phones!) or taking time out on a beach to clear your mind and reconnect with yourself! Entrants then need to complete an entry form online with their name, suburb, state, daytime telephone number and email address. 6. Entrants must be 15 years of age and over to enter the Promotion. 7. Entrants under the age of 18 require the consent of their parent or guardian to enter the Promotion. 8. The Entrant consents to the use of the photograph by the Promoter for publicity purposes. 9. Maximum ten (10) entries per person. 10. Photographs must be originals and submitted as a high resolution jpeg file. 11. The winner will be determined by the Promoter’s judging panel at their sole discretion. Each entry will be individually judged based how well the photo relates to the themes of “Disconnect” and “Reconnect”. 12. There is one (1) Prize. The Prize consists of: two (2) nights’ disconnect to reconnect accommodation package for two (2) in a superior suite at The Byron at Byron Resort located in Byron Bay, NSW. Full buffet breakfast daily for two (2) people in The Restaurant. Welcome bottle of red or white Australian wine in room on arrival. One hour relaxation or remedial massage for two (2) people. One (1) gourmet lunch or dinner voucher to the total value of $130. Daily bicycle hire. Daily morning yoga class (“the Prize”). 13. The total value of the Prize is $1,537. 14. The Prize is valid between 8th October 2012 and 8th April 2013, and is not available on long weekends, public holidays or major event periods. Remaining credit cannot be carried forward. The Prize is valid for two (2) people only, any additional persons will be charged at the normal rate. 15. The Prize cannot be redeemed for cash in part or in whole. 16. Entries that are deemed inappropriate or offensive by the judging panel will not be eligible. 17. Judging for the Prize will take place at B1 Richmond Road, Homebush West NSW 2140 on Monday, 8th October 2012 at 12.00pm. 18. The winner of the Prize will be notified by phone on Tuesday, 9th October 2012 advised in writing and their details published in The Australian on Tuesday, 16th October 2012 (“Winner”). 19. If the winner is under the age of 18, the Prize will be awarded to the Winner’s parent or guardian. 20. Judging for the unclaimed Prize will take place at B1 Richmond Road, Homebush West NSW 2140 on Tuesday, 8th January 2013 at midday (“Second Draw Winner”). 21. The winner of the unclaimed Prize will be contacted by phone, advised in writing and their details published in The Australian on Tuesday, 15th January 2013. 22. The Promoter reserves the right to request the Winner provide suitable identification of proof of age and identity prior to awarding a Prize. 23. The Promoter reserves the right to announce and/or publish the Winner’s name and/or photograph for publicity purposes. 24. Entries that are illegible, incomplete or do not comply with these Terms are invalid. 25. The Promoter reserves the right to verify entries and claims for Prizes and reserves the right to disqualify an entrant where the entry process has been tampered with. 26. The Promoter is not responsible if the value of the Prizes changes between the date of publication of these Terms and the date the Prizes are awarded. 27. The Promoter may at its absolute discretion, suspend, cancel or recommence the Promotion if (a) for any reason the Promotion is not capable of proceeding as planned; (b) if the Promotion is corrupted or the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion is affected; or (c) if the determination of the winner or delivery of prizes is prevented or hindered by any event outside the Promoter’s control subject to regulatory authorities. 28. Except for any liability not excluded by law, entrants release and indemnify the Promoter from and against all actions, claims and liabilities, that the entrant now has or in the future may have against the Promoter for any loss, damage or injury (including any special or consequential loss) suffered as a direct or indirect result of the entrant’s participation in the Promotion. 29. The Promoter’s decision in relation to this Promotion is final and binding on entrants and the Promoter will not enter into any correspondence. 30. Officers, employees and immediate families of officers and employees of the Promoter, the Franchise and their Related Entities and contractors and any other organisations associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter.
